Symptom narrative

I woke at 12:30 am in severe left shoulder pain. I could not sleep. In the morning when I rose my left shoulder and arm were extremely painful. I could not lift my arm. I tried moving my arm as much as I could and massaged it. I used ice and ibuprofen. Second night I could not sleep. Massage, ice, ibuprofen. My shoulder and arm made a slight improvement but I still could not lift my arm very high. I contacted my doctor via a portal on 5/15. I had decided to give it a week to see if it would heal. At the moment I have pain when using. I can not lift anything with any weight to it and I can raise my arm to put on or take off shirt or put things in higher cabinets.
