got the shingle 3 months ago, on my left side stomach going into my back; was hospitalized 3 days ftom going into AFib so much pain; got the shingle 3 months ago, on my left side stomach going into my back/ suspected vaccination failure; This serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of vaccination failure in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. Co-suspect products included Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received the 2nd dose of Shingles vaccine and the 1st dose of Shingles vaccine. In MAR-2026, more than 2 years after receiving Shingles vaccine and Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced vaccination failure (Verbatim: got the shingle 3 months ago, on my left side stomach going into my back/ suspected vaccination failure) (serious criteria GSK medically significant) and shingles (Verbatim: got the shingle 3 months ago, on my left side stomach going into my back) (serious criteria hospitalization). On an unknown date, the patient experienced atrial fibrillation (Verbatim: was hospitalized 3 days ftom going into AFib so much pain) (serious criteria hospitalization and GSK medically significant). The patient was treated with antibiotics. The outcome of the vaccination failure, shingles and atrial fibrillation were not reported. It was unknown if the reporter considered the vaccination failure, shingles and atrial fibrillation to be related to Shingles vaccine and Shingles vaccine. The company considered the vaccination failure, shingles and atrial fibrillation to be unrelated to Shingles vaccine and Shingles vaccine. Additional Information: GSK receipt date 08-MAY-2026, 09-MAY-2026 and 10-MAY-2026 This serious case was reported by a patient via interactive digital media. The patient received 2 shingles shots in 2018 and got shingles anyway 2 months ago. The patient had shingles on side of stomach going into back. It was so painful that patient went into Atrial fibrillation, the patient was hospitalized for 3 days. In hospital they were trying to get heart rate down. In fact after they got it down, the patient was released and had to follow up with a heart doctor. But one week later shingles pain was still there and the patient returned to the hospital and was prescribed different antibiotics and was released after one day. The batch number was not provided, and we are unable to contact the reporter. This case has been considered as suspected vaccination failure since the details regarding laboratory confirmation of shingles not reported.; Sender's Comments: A case of Vaccination failure, Herpes zoster and Atrial fibrillation, more than 2 years after receiving 1st dose and 2nd dose of Shingles vaccine in a patient.
