Suspected vaccination failure; I have the shingles now in and around my right eye; I had them down my chest, breast, under the breast, and around to the middle of my back all on the right side; This serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of vaccination failure in a 72-year-old patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. Co-suspect products included Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received the 2nd dose of Shingles vaccine and the 1st dose of Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, more than a year after receiving Shingles vaccine and Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced vaccination failure (Verbatim: Suspected vaccination failure) (serious criteria GSK medically significant), ophthalmic herpes zoster (Verbatim: I have the shingles now in and around my right eye) (serious criteria GSK medically significant) and shingles (Verbatim: I had them down my chest, breast, under the breast, and around to the middle of my back all on the right side). The outcome of the vaccination failure and shingles were not reported and the outcome of the ophthalmic herpes zoster was not resolved. The patient was almost 72 years old, and the shingles were not something to take lightly. The patient had been extremely miserable and had gone to the emergency room twice due to the pain. The pharmacist had told the patient about 17 years back even after having the shots, still 17% of people gets shingles. The batch number was not provided, and we are unable to contact the reporter.
