On an unknown date, the patient received Shingles vaccine. The patient reported that they had received the vaccine and developed shingles after hip surgery on the thigh, which still hurts and they also had a small rash one year after the surgery. This case was considered as suspected vaccination failure as details regarding completion of primary vaccination schedule, time to onset for shingles and laboratory confirmation regarding shingles were unknown at the time of reporting.
