Patient experienced syncope within seconds of receiving the vaccine. Lost consciousness for about 30 seconds; after putting alcohol near her nares patient gained consciousness; however started to throw up, felt very clammy and weak. She was provided support and throwing up twice she was able to recover and stand up on her known. She was no longer clammy or pale and the nausea had improved. I offered to contact 911; however she refused. She was accompanied by her grandmother and grandfather. Patient was able to leave on her own after stabilizing. I contacted the patient hours later and she was stable. She reported she had not eaten since the day before at 3 pm and had a similar event with a vaccine in the past. Will follow up with the patient tomorrow, she was advised to seek emergency help if condition did not improve.
