Symptom narrative

Per employee report: "Around 3pm on 4/29/2026, I received a Varicella vaccination. 2 hours later, my arm was red, warm to the touch, and swollen. I was also running a slight fever of 99.8 degrees F. The swelling and redness was worse the next day. I put ice on the red and swollen area and the swelling went down. The next day, 5/1/2026, my husband and I left town and when we returned, we noticed that my arm was swollen from my shoulder to my elbow on the posterior side of my arm. We decided to come to the ER where the doctor said that I was having an allergic reaction and gave me Benadryl. He suggested that I do not get the second installment of the vaccine."
