Symptom narrative

Within 24 hours after administration of the subcutaneous smallpox vaccine, the patient developed nausea and migraine. The site injection (left triceps) developed 5 cm x 8 cm area of erythema, swelling, significant tenderness to palpation, and is warm to touch. Lymphadenopathy of left side axillary lymph nodes.
