rash is spreading through his body, specifically around his abdomen and feet; could not breath sometimes; had mucous; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via call center representative and described the occurrence of rash in a 63-year-old male patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. Concurrent medical conditions included blood pressure high. On an unknown date, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingrix. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced rash (Verbatim: rash is spreading through his body, specifically around his abdomen and feet), difficulty breathing (Verbatim: could not breath sometimes) and mucus discharge (Verbatim: had mucous). The patient was treated with antibiotics and hydrocortisone. The outcome of the rash was not resolved and the outcome of the difficulty breathing and mucus discharge were resolved. It was unknown if the reporter considered the rash, difficulty breathing and mucus discharge to be related to Shingrix. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date:11-MAY-2026 The reporter stated that her husband had received the first dose of the Shingrix vaccine almost a year earlier and had developed a rash that never went away. The doctor had prescribed an antibiotic cream, but it did not help with the rash. The patient had taken blood pressure medication. The patient had not received his second Shingrix vaccine and did not plan on receiving it either. The batch number was not provided upon follow up with the reporter.
