Symptom narrative

Starting 8 - 12 hours after she got it, she has experienced a red sore area at the site of the injection, body aches, low fever highest 101, she feels like a lymph node on her neck is swollen. She has taken advil and tylenol for this. She denies any difficulty breathing, dizziness, confusion, hives, or swelling in her face or throat. I advised if she can take anti-inflammatories, that can help with the swelling, to apply an ice pack for 20 minutes every 2 hours, take an allergy medicine such as zyrtec or claritin to help the general reaction symptoms. She denies any difficulty breathing, dizziness, confusion, hives, or swelling in her face or throat. The patient was later seen at Urgent Care, then Emergency room, for cellulitis and started on cephalexin.
