seizures; This serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of seizure in a female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingrix. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced seizure (Verbatim: seizures) (serious criteria GSK medically significant). The outcome of the seizure was unknown. It was unknown if the reporter considered the seizure to be related to Shingrix. The company considered the seizure to be unrelated to Shingrix. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 13-MAY-2026 This case was reported by a patient via interactive digital media. The patient received the shingles shot when she was due for her second shot and started having seizures. Needless to say, she did not get the second shot. The batch number was not provided, and we are unable to contact the reporter.; Sender's Comments: A case of Seizure (not meeting BC Criteria) , unknown time after receiving 1st dose of Shingrix in a female patient. Case lacks further information on time to onset, medical history, concurrent conditions and laboratory data. Based on the available information a possible causality that the event was caused by the GSK product cannot be ascertained. Consent for further follow-up has not been received.
