Symptom narrative

Shingles; This non-serious case was reported by a other health professional and described the occurrence of shingles in a 66-year-old male patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. Concurrent medical conditions included hyperlipidemia, benign prostatic hypertrophy and erectile dysfunction. Concomitant products included atorvastatin, finasteride, tamsulosin and tadalafil. On 06-MAY-2026, the patient received Shingrix. On 06-MAY-2026, immediately after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced shingles (Verbatim: Shingles). The outcome of the shingles was not resolved. It was unknown if the reporter considered the shingles to be related to Shingrix. It was unknown if the company considered the shingles to be related to Shingrix. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date:08-MAY-2026 The symptoms of Shingles were treated. The patient was unsure of a relationship may not be cause effect, but they knew that there were reported cases. The batch number was not provided upon follow up with the reporter.
