Symptom narrative

Plenty of pain with the shots; sickness; arm was sore for couple of day; had what felt like a 24 hour flu; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of influenza-like symptoms in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. The patient's past medical history included shingles (had shingles prior to the vaccines). On an unknown date, the patient received Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced influenza-like symptoms (Verbatim: had what felt like a 24 hour flu), pain (Verbatim: Plenty of pain with the shots), sickness (Verbatim: sickness) and pain in arm (Verbatim: arm was sore for couple of day). The outcome of the influenza-like symptoms was resolved (duration 24 hrs) and the outcome of the pain and sickness were not reported and the outcome of the pain in arm was resolved. It was unknown if the reporter considered the influenza-like symptoms, sickness and pain in arm to be related to Shingles vaccine. The reporter considered the pain to be related to Shingles vaccine.
