Patient called on 5/20/26 to report persistent right shoulder pain that she states began immediately after receiving the RSV vaccine in our office in January. She feels the injection may have been administered too high in the shoulder. She reports immediate pain at the time of injection, followed by significant shoulder pain that has not gone away. She states that by the following day she had markedly limited range of motion and described her shoulder as feeling "frozen." Patient reports that she was evaluated at Orthopedics by Dr. She states he felt the symptoms may be related to bursitis/inflammation secondary to the RSV vaccination (told her it was SIRVA). She received a steroid injection, but reports no improvement in symptoms. She states she contacted their office again and was told it was too soon to receive another steroid injection and that additional treatment was limited because she is breastfeeding. She states she continues to have significant pain and difficulty lifting her arm.. She also reports speaking with an OT and trying recommended exercises without improvement. She had a normal pregnancy and delivered a healthy baby girl at 38.6weeks (due on 3/4/26) Baby weighed 3098gm.
