Reported Symptoms: 10006502:BRUISE; 10008479:CHEST PAIN; 10008493:CHEST TIGHTNESS OF; 10011232:COUGHING; 10012727:DIARRHEA; 10020197:HIVES; 10020201:HOARSENESS; 10040604:SHORTNESS OF BREATH; 10043517:THROAT CONSTRICTION; 10047924: WHEEZING; Narrative: see section 6 for details and labs Other Relevant HX: 38 y old woman with GERD, eosinophilic esophagitis, chronic rhinitis / sinusitis s/p bilateral inferior turbinate reduction (01/2023), HTN, chronic PTSD, and MDD/anxiety who presented with b/l upper and lower ext itching rash, facial welling, wheezing, and dyspnea after taking PNA vaccine on 2/17/2026. The pt was in her usual state of health until 2/17 when she received PNA vaccine based on her PCP advise. Over the following 2 weeks, she developed multiple symptoms that prompted 7 ED visits. The initial symptom was redness at the injection site, followed by generalized itching, then tingly limbs, SOB and difficulty swallowing. She was treated multiple medications including Zyrtec, benadryl, albuterol, famotidine, GI cocktail, and prednisone 40 mg for 9 days (completed the day before admission). States that her symptoms got better while on steroids but rebounded. Also reports that Benadryl helps but once its effects ware off, she starts getting the symptoms again. She denied ever having any other vaccine reactions. Denies other allergies. Interestingly, her mother had allergic reaction with similar symptoms to flu vaccine. She was diagnosed with asthma in 2017 and describes it has seasonal and exercise induced. She notes that recently she has been trying to conceive
