Patient came in with another member of the household to get a Tdap vaccine. He sat down and received the vaccine and after completion he left the vaccination room so the other member could get her vaccine. He went in the waiting room and sat down. Within a minute of leaving the room we heard patient fall from the chair and it appeared he had a vasovagal reaction/passing out after vaccine. He was shaking and did not know where he was at. He was pale, clammy and sweating after the incident. We let him continue to lay on the floor until his blood pressure and color came back up. Patient was able to recover from incident.

Before leaving we checked patient's blood pressure 115/83 and he was offered to wait 10 min and recheck, but patient ensured he was fine and was ready to leave.
Patient stated something similar happened to him at the age of 10. Unknown of any other details.
