Second shot on the second day had a bad headache and slight fever.; Second shot on the second day had a bad headache and slight fever.; Discomfort; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of headache in a 64-year-old patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. Previously administered products included Shingrix (received first dose of Shingrix on an unknown date). In MAY-2026, the patient received the 2nd dose of Shingles vaccine. In MAY-2026, less than 2 weeks after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced headache (Verbatim: Second shot on the second day had a bad headache and slight fever.), fever (Verbatim: Second shot on the second day had a bad headache and slight fever.) and discomfort (Verbatim: Discomfort). The patient was treated with paracetamol (Tylenol). The outcome of the headache and fever were resolved and the outcome of the discomfort was resolved (duration 1 day). It was unknown if the reporter considered the headache, fever and discomfort to be related to Shingles vaccine. The patient stated that patient just received second Shingles vaccine shot last week. No side effects on first Shot. Second shot on the second day had a bad headache and slight fever. Took Tylenol and slept most of the day. Was feeling good by that evening. Third day no side effects. It was worth it for a little discomfort for a day. The batch number was not provided and unable to contact the reporter.
