pneumonia; covid; injection stings/stinging with injection; eosinophil levels high/arm visible red swollen knot/allergic rhinitis/broke out in a rash on shins of red dots in circle patches/rash on legs/red dots in circle patches/diagnosed as eczema; allergic rhinitis; joints all popping/the crackling in her knuckles and other joints; sinuses and throat were burning; sinuses and throat were burning; This is a spontaneous report received from an Other HCP from License Party. Other Case identifier(s): 2026SA017797 (SANOFI Patient Safety & Pharmacovigilance), AE-023691 (BioNTech). An adult female patient received BNT162b2 omicron (lp.8.1) (COMIRNATY (2025-2026 FORMULA)), as dose 1, single (Batch/Lot number: unknown) for covid-19 immunisation; dupilumab (DUPIXENT). The patient's relevant medical history and concomitant medications were not reported. The following information was reported: PNEUMONIA (medically significant), outcome "unknown"; COVID-19 (non-serious), outcome "unknown", described as "covid"; VACCINATION SITE PAIN (non-serious), outcome "unknown", described as "injection stings/stinging with injection"; ECZEMA (non-serious), outcome "not recovered", described as "eosinophil levels high/arm visible red swollen knot/allergic rhinitis/broke out in a rash on shins of red dots in circle patches/rash on legs/red dots in circle patches/diagnosed as eczema"; RHINITIS ALLERGIC (non-serious), outcome "not recovered", described as "allergic rhinitis"; JOINT NOISE (non-serious), outcome "unknown", described as "joints all popping/the crackling in her knuckles and other joints"; SINUS DISORDER (non-serious), THROAT IRRITATION (non-serious), outcome "unknown" and all described as "sinuses and throat were burning". The patient underwent the following laboratory tests and procedures: Biopsy: eosinophil levels were high. The action taken for dupilumab was unknown. Therapeutic measures were not taken as a result of pneumonia, covid-19, vaccination site pain, eczema, rhinitis allergic, joint noise, sinus disorder, throat irritation. Clinical Course: Patient was now feeling ill like she may be coming down with "covid or pneumonia" NULL, she woke up and her sinuses and throat were burning, she is concerned that she has covid; feeling really sick.; feeling unwell following the same day administration of duixent and covid shot, sickness following covid vaccine/ patient was feeling really sick, no medication administered, it just hurts, the actual injection stings since starting on dupixent/mild stinging with injection, her eosinophil levels were high on her biopsies, arm still has a visible red swollen knot, she has allergic rhinitis, still has a visible red swollen knot, broke out in a rash on her shins of red dots in circle patches/she had a rash on my legs over the weekend/it was red dots in circle patches, states already gone away, her primary doctor diagnosed it as eczema and joints all popping/the crackling in her knuckles and other joints. Batch/lot number is not provided, and it cannot be obtained. BNT162b2 omicron (lp.8.1) is under agreement with SANOFI AVENTIS.; Sender's Comments: There is no reasonable possibility that the event pneumonia was related to COMIRNATY (2025-2026 FORMULA). This is more likely an intercurrent infection.
