Suspected vaccination failure; had the shingles once on the outside; still have scars from them; This serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of vaccination failure in a male patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received Shingrix. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced vaccination failure (Verbatim: Suspected vaccination failure) (serious criteria GSK medically significant), shingles (Verbatim: had the shingles once on the outside) and scar (Verbatim: still have scars from them). The outcome of the vaccination failure and shingles were not reported and the outcome of the scar was not resolved. The patient had the shingles 3 times, twice on the inside and once on the outside, still have scars from them. The patient said that if you have had chicken pox, your chances of getting them in most likely. The shot was a joke, it did not keep you from getting them, nor did it stop the pain. This case was considered as suspected vaccination failure as details regarding completion of primary schedule, time to onset for shingles and laboratory confirmation regarding shingles were unknown at the time of reporting.
