lost the use of injected arm for 5 months; arm was weak for years; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of injected limb mobility decreased in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) for prophylaxis. Previously administered products included Varicella zoster vaccine with an associated reaction of no adverse event (received first dose on an unknown date). On an unknown date, the patient received the 2nd dose of Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, 4 hrs after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced injected limb mobility decreased (Verbatim: lost the use of injected arm for 5 months) and weakness of arms (Verbatim: arm was weak for years). The outcome of the injected limb mobility decreased and weakness of arms were resolved. It was unknown if the reporter considered the injected limb mobility decreased and weakness of arms to be related to Shingles vaccine. Patient had first shot without any obvious problem, four hours after the second dose they lost the use of arm for 5 months and were not able to raise hand above behind, not able to dress, had physical therapy thrice a day.
