No effects reported.; Medical assistant called to report inadvertent administration of PROQUAD following expiry; This spontaneous report was received from a physician assistant and refers to a 4-year-old patient of unknown gender. No information regarding the patient's pertinent medical history, drug reactions or allergies, or concomitant therapies was provided. On 06-May-2026, the patient was vaccinated with an expired dose of Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella (Oka-Merck) Virus Vaccine Live (PROQUAD) 0.5 ml (route of administration and anatomical location not provided, lot number Y01816, which was verified to be valid, expiration date established on 29-Apr-2026) for prophylaxis (Expired product administered), the suspect vaccine was reconstituted with sterile diluent (Hollister) (lot number 2087420, expiration date reported on 21-Jan-2027). No adverse event was reported, they gave to health care professional recommendations that an expired dose of live vaccines should be repeated.
