Suspected vaccination failure; Received shingles even after having the vaccine; This serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of vaccination failure in a 60-year-old female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) solution for injection for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received Shingrix. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced vaccination failure (Verbatim: Suspected vaccination failure) (serious criteria GSK medically significant) and shingles (Verbatim: Received shingles even after having the vaccine). The outcome of the vaccination failure was not reported and the outcome of the shingles was unknown. The reporter considered the vaccination failure and shingles to be unrelated to Shingrix. The company considered the vaccination failure and shingles to be unrelated to Shingrix. Additional Information: GSK receipt date: 21-MAY-2026 The patient never got sick. She had some extreme stress in her life. The absolute worst grandson went missing for a week. The patient had custody of his sidenote. She was physically fit. She did all the things, and she woke up with her tailbone hurting, pain shooting down her leg, and a rash on the left side of her thigh extending to the top. The patient got the shingles shot when she was 50, as soon as shingles passed. She was told by her doctor to come in and get the shot, but the pain was absolutely no joke. This case was considered as suspected vaccination failure as details regarding completion of primary schedule, time to onset for shingles and laboratory confirmation regarding shingles were unknown at the time of reporting.
