Pharmacist reports that an expired Boostrix was given to a patient this week on 21-May-26; This non-serious case was reported by a pharmacist via call center representative and described the occurrence of expired vaccine used in a 67-year-old female patient who received DTPa (Reduced antigen) (Boostrix) suspension for injection in pre-filled syringe (batch number P5SR5 with expiry date 26-APR-2026) for prophylaxis. On 21-MAY-2026, the patient received Boostrix. On 21-MAY-2026, an unknown time after receiving Boostrix, the patient experienced expired vaccine used (Verbatim: Pharmacist reports that an expired Boostrix was given to a patient this week on 21-May-26). The outcome of the expired vaccine used was not applicable.
