one of the syringes was broken inside of the box; This is a spontaneous report received from a Consumer or other non HCP from product quality group. A patient (age and gender not provided) received pneumococcal 20-valent conjugate vaccine (diphtheria CRM197 protein) (PREVNAR 20), as dose number unknown, single (Lot number: MW5937, Expiration Date: 30Apr2027) for immunisation, Device Lot Number: MW5937, Device Expiration Date: 30Apr2027. The patient's relevant medical history and concomitant medications were not reported. The following information was reported: DEVICE BREAKAGE (non-serious), outcome "unknown", described as "one of the syringes was broken inside of the box". Additional information: The reporter inquired if they could use the remaining 9 syringes out of the box of 10 as the only one damaged leaked out and came into contact with some of the other syringes. Causality for "one of the syringes was broken inside of the box" was determined associated to device constituent of pneumococcal 20-valent conjugate vaccine (diphtheria CRM197 protein) (malfunction).
