Suffering from COVID-19 and cannot seem to recover; Suffering from COVID-19 and cannot seem to recover; had fainting spells; Choked while eating; Constantly sick/constantly ill; swallowed the wrong way/ hardly eat or drink anymore/ swallowed medication badly too; vomit everywhere; This is a spontaneous report received from a Consumer or other non HCP. Other Case identifier(s): MOD-2026-795594 (Moderna), MOD-2026-795618 (Moderna). A patient (age and gender not provided) received BNT162b2 (BNT162B2), as dose number unknown, single (Batch/Lot number: unknown) for covid-19 immunisation; elasomeran (SPIKEVAX), intramuscular for covid-19 prophylaxis. The patient's relevant medical history and concomitant medications were not reported. The following information was reported: DRUG INEFFECTIVE (medically significant), COVID-19 (medically significant), outcome "not recovered" and all described as "Suffering from COVID-19 and cannot seem to recover"; SYNCOPE (medically significant), outcome "unknown", described as "had fainting spells"; CHOKING (medically significant), outcome "unknown", described as "Choked while eating"; ILLNESS (non-serious), outcome "not recovered", described as "Constantly sick/constantly ill"; DYSPHAGIA (non-serious), outcome "unknown", described as "swallowed the wrong way/ hardly eat or drink anymore/ swallowed medication badly too"; VOMITING (non-serious), outcome "unknown", described as "vomit everywhere". The patient underwent the following laboratory tests and procedures: Blood pressure measurement: 14/8. Clinical course: Patient describes the occurrence of SYNCOPE (had fainting spells) and CHOKING (Choked while eating) in a patient of an unknown age who received SPIKEVAX NOS (SPIKEVAX NOS) for COVID-19 prophylaxis. The occurrence of additional non-serious events is detailed below. Co-suspect product included non-company product Tozinameran (Pfizer BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine) for an unknown indication. No Medical History information was reported. On an unknown date, the patient received dose of SPIKEVAX NOS (SPIKEVAX NOS) (Intramuscular use) 1 dosage form and dose of Tozinameran (Pfizer BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine) (unknown route) 1 dosage form. On an unknown date, the patient experienced SYNCOPE (had fainting spells) (seriousness criterion medically significant), CHOKING (Choked while eating) (seriousness criterion medically significant), POST-ACUTE COVID-19 SYNDROME (Suffering from COVID-19 and cannot seem to recover), ILLNESS (Constantly sick/constantly ill), GENERAL PHYSICAL HEALTH DETERIORATION (Destroying physical health-you cannot destroy body like this), DYSPHAGIA (swallowed the wrong way/ hardly eat or drink anymore/ swallowed medication badly too) and VOMITING (vomit everywhere). At the time of the report, SYNCOPE (had fainting spells), CHOKING (Choked while eating), GENERAL PHYSICAL HEALTH DETERIORATION (Dsestroying physical health-you cannot destroy body like this), DYSPHAGIA (swallowed the wrong way/ hardly eat or drink anymore/ swallowed medication badly too) and VOMITING (vomit everywhere) outcome was unknown and POST-ACUTE COVID-19 SYNDROME (Suffering from COVID-19 and cannot seem to recover) and ILLNESS (Constantly sick/constantly ill) had not resolved. The action taken with SPIKEVAX NOS (SPIKEVAX NOS) (Intramuscular use) was unknown. Concomitant medication use information was not provided by reporter. It was reported that the patient had suffered from COVID-19 and had been unable to recover. The patient had received total three doses of vaccination which included the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. The reporter had very little trust in vaccines, as people had reportedly died after receiving them. It was reported that the patient swallowed the wrong way after eat some rubbery andouille sausage slices and the patient can hardly eat or drink anymore, or swallowed medication badly too. Everything was messed up for the patient. The emergency services were not even able to respond properly. The patient has a brief first aid issue. The Patent was drunk, and taken medication, drugs, alcohol. The patient slept badly that night and the patient had Choked while eating. It was reported that the patient barely eats or eat very quickly because people disturb the patient during meals. Sometimes the patient just wanted to be left alone and go to bed. The patient wanted to rest a little without being disturbed. It was reported that one neighbor kept bothering the patient constantly, even at night, so the patient hardly slept. Treatment medication use information was not provided by reporter. Most recent FOLLOW-UP information incorporated above includes: On 11May2026: Significant follow up received in which case was upgraded from non-serious to serious, lab data was added, new event of Syncope, Choking, General physical health deterioration, Dysphagia and Vomiting were added. Case narrative was updated. Company comment: Tozinameran was considered a co-suspect product. Event choking was assessed as not related due to lack of biological plausibility. The benefit-risk relationship of the product is not affected by this report. No follow-up attempts are possible. Batch/lot number is not provided, and it cannot be obtained.
