The patient came for this Yellow Fever vaccine and it was administered by rph, on 05-26-26 at, ~ 5:45pm. The patient was fine for ~ 15 minutes post-injection as Rph then prepared another dose and administered to mother, filled out both yellow card certificates, and then spoke with the father out side of the vaccine room. The family left the location and while on the highway the child began to cough and then wheeze. The child then began to get hives on his chest/back/stomach area. This happened ~ 6:30pm. The child was taken to an urgent care center and was discharged ~ 11pm. The child was fine as of 05/27/26. The patient was prescribed an Epipen to have on hand in case it was needed in future. The patient was prescribed prednisone 40mg dose daily for 5 days; montelukast 10mg at night for 30 days; fexofenadine 180mg daily for 30 days
