achy; 100.9 fever; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of pain in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) solution for injection for prophylaxis. Concurrent medical conditions included eosinophilic asthma. Concomitant products included benralizumab (Fasenra). Family history included shingles (patient's mother-in-law had shingles a couple of times while she was fighting cancer), cancer, death (patient's mother-in-law gone a few years ago) and feeling miserable (patient's mother-in law was miserable, especially the second time she got them). On 21-MAY-2026, the patient received the 2nd dose of Shingles vaccine. On 22-MAY-2026, 1 days after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced pain (Verbatim: achy) and fever (Verbatim: 100.9 fever). The outcome of the pain and fever were not resolved. It was unknown if the reporter considered the pain and fever to be related to Shingles vaccine. The patient was achy with a 100.9 fever earlier today. The patient knew it would pass by the next day, and the patient really needed to get the shingles preventative because he/she was taking the Fasenra shot for his/her eosinophilic asthma. That shot was biologic, and it made it more likely that he/she would get shingles. Of course, the drugs for treatment made her more susceptible to shingles. It was miserable -especially the second time she got them. The patient stated he/she would rather have had a day or two of feeling better than get those shingles. The patient stated he/she would have gotten them on his/her face. The follow-up could not be possible as no contact details were available.
