Symptom narrative

Shingles outbreak; she received Shingrix vaccine in 2018 and received only one dose missed dose; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via call center representative and described the occurrence of shingles in a female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) solution for injection for prophylaxis. In 2018, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingrix. On an unknown date, less than a year after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced shingles (Verbatim: Shingles outbreak) and incomplete course of vaccination (Verbatim: she received Shingrix vaccine in 2018 and received only one dose missed dose). The outcome of the shingles was not resolved. It was unknown if the reporter considered the shingles to be related to Shingrix. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 19-MAY-2026 The patient self-reported this case. The reporter mentioned that the patient had shingles break-up last year, then she had another flare up a month ago, still felt itchy and rash. The batch number was not provided upon follow-up with the reporter.
