Severe heart valve stenosis; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via call center representative and described the occurrence of heart valve stenosis in a male patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) solution for injection for prophylaxis. The patient's past medical history included renal failure, neuropathy and sciatic neuralgia. In DEC-2025, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingrix. In APR-2026, between 3 and 5 months after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced heart valve stenosis (Verbatim: Severe heart valve stenosis). The patient was treated with steroids and steroids. The outcome of the heart valve stenosis was unknown. It was unknown if the reporter considered the heart valve stenosis to be related to Shingrix. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 26-MAY-2026 The patient did not remember the exact date, but he stated that it had possibly been toward the end of December. The patient stated that he had been diagnosed a month earlier with severe heart valve stenosis. The patient had been scheduled to undergo a heart catheterization on Thursday, 28-MAY-2026, and that he would require a heart valve replacement surgery, although he had not been sure when it would take place. The patient also reported that he had received two shots in his back and they had been steroid injections. The batch number was not provided upon follow up with the reporter.
