hives 5 days after the vaccine; This is a spontaneous report received from a Physician. An 85-year-old female patient received rsv vaccine prot.subunit pref 2v (RSV VACCINE PROT.SUBUNIT PREF 2V), on 16Dec2025 as dose 1, single (Batch/Lot number: unknown) at the age of 85 years intramuscular, in left deltoid for immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history included: "Asthma" (ongoing). Concomitant medication(s) included: LOSARTAN; HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE; ALBUTEROL [SALBUTAMOL]. The following information was reported: URTICARIA (non-serious) with onset 21Dec2025, outcome "unknown", described as "hives 5 days after the vaccine". Therapeutic measures were taken as a result of urticaria. Additional information: Reporter stated, one of my patient had hives 5 days after the vaccine. It was dispensed through reporter clinic. Vaccine was given on 16Dec2025 and she started getting symptoms on 21Dec2025. Treatment: Reporter stated, Zyrtec, 10 mg everyday. Did patient received any other vaccine same date as Pfizer vaccine, reporter stated, No. Did the patient receive any other vaccine within 4 weeks prior to the first administration of the suspected vaccine, reporter stated, No, do not think so. Did the event requires a visit to the emergency room, reporter stated, No. The information on the batch/lot number for rsv vaccine prot.subunit pref 2v will be requested and submitted if and when received.
