Symptom narrative

Patient called about 0953 am. Stated that she is having some numbness/tingling in her right arm - where shot was administered - mostly in hand and elbow. Also mentioned some in her left hand. Pharmacist, was present in my room when the call came in - advised patient to take some benadryl and monitor. This RN let the patient know that she is welcome to come get checked out and that if symptoms started getting worse to definitely come get checked out. Patient verbalized understanding. States she's going to monitor for now, but will come in if symptoms get worse or don't improve.
