Suspected vaccination failure; We got the 2 shots 10 months ago and 10 days ago my lady got shingles; This serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of vaccination failure in a female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) solution for injection for prophylaxis. In JUL-2025, the patient received the 2nd dose of Shingles vaccine. In MAY-2026, between 9 and 11 months after receiving Shingles vaccine and less than a year after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced vaccination failure (Verbatim: Suspected vaccination failure) (serious criteria GSK medically significant) and shingles (Verbatim: We got the 2 shots 10 months ago and 10 days ago my lady got shingles). The outcome of the vaccination failure and shingles were not reported. It was unknown if the reporter considered the vaccination failure and shingles to be related to Shingles vaccine. The company considered the vaccination failure to be unrelated to Shingles vaccine. The patient got the two Shingles shot 10 months ago and 10 days ago the patient had Shingles. It was terribly painful disease. This case was considered as suspected vaccination failure as details regarding laboratory confirmation regarding shingles were unknown at the time of reporting.
