Suspected vaccination failure; had both shots and still got it both times on right side of my body; had both shots and still got it both times; This serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of vaccination failure in a female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) solution for injection for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received the 2nd dose of Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced vaccination failure (Verbatim: Suspected vaccination failure) (serious criteria GSK medically significant), shingles (Verbatim: had both shots and still got it both times on right side of my body) and shingles (Verbatim: had both shots and still got it both times). The outcome of the vaccination failure and shingles were not reported and the outcome of the shingles was resolving. Additional Information: GSK receipt date: 26-MAY-2026 This case was reported by a patient via interactive digital media. The patient had received both Shingles shots and still developed Shingles both times on the right side of her body. This time it was not widespread, it was above her breast and on her neck, with one hot spot on the back of the right side of her neck at the bottom of the hairline behind her ear. It hurt and burned when she scratched the itch, but the ones above her right breast were getting scabs and were still itchy, did not hurt as much and only burned. This case was considered as suspected vaccination failure as details regarding time to onset for shingles and laboratory confirmation regarding shingles were unknown at the time of reporting.
