Symptom narrative

Appetite absent; extreme soreness in upper left arm with pain in muscle, which moved to the bone; extreme soreness in upper left arm with pain in muscle, which moved to the bone; persisting pain has traveked from shoulder towards collar bone; persisting pain has traveked from shoulder towards collar bone; Lower arm weak; Arm discomfort was reported as worsened; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via call center representative and described the occurrence of arm discomfort in a 68-year-old female patient who received HAB (Twinrix) suspension for injection in pre-filled syringe for prophylaxis. Previously administered products included COVID-19 vaccine (Had a reaction in her arm from the COVID injection, but it went away after a couple of days.). Concomitant products included atorvastatin calcium propylene glycol solvate (Atorvastatin). On 26-APR-2026, the patient received Twinrix (left arm). On 27-APR-2026, 1 days after receiving Twinrix, the patient experienced arm discomfort (Verbatim: Arm discomfort was reported as worsened). On an unknown date, the patient experienced appetite absent (Verbatim: Appetite absent), pain in arm (Verbatim: extreme soreness in upper left arm with pain in muscle, which moved to the bone), muscle pain (Verbatim: extreme soreness in upper left arm with pain in muscle, which moved to the bone), bone pain (Verbatim: persisting pain has traveked from shoulder towards collar bone), shoulder pain (Verbatim: persisting pain has traveked from shoulder towards collar bone) and weakness of arms (Verbatim: Lower arm weak). The outcome of the arm discomfort, appetite absent, pain in arm, muscle pain, bone pain and shoulder pain were not resolved and the outcome of the weakness of arms was not reported. The reporter considered the arm discomfort and appetite absent to be unrelated to Twinrix. It was unknown if the reporter considered the pain in arm, muscle pain, bone pain, shoulder pain and weakness of arms to be related to Twinrix and Twinrix Pre-Filled Syringe Device. It was unknown if the reporter considered the arm discomfort and appetite absent to be related to Twinrix Pre-Filled Syringe Device. The company considered the arm discomfort and appetite absent to be unrelated to Twinrix. Persisting pain has traveled from shoulder towards collar bone and lower arm weak. The patient has been on Atorvastatin but stopped taking it on 04-APR-2026. The batch number was not provided upon follow up with the reporter.
