influenza A; This literature report (initial receipt 19-May-2026) concerns an adult male patient with influenza A had received the influenza vaccine (trade name, manufacturer and lot number not reported - to be requested upon follow up) that season prior to infection.; Reporter's Comments: Causality: Due to the spontaneous nature of the case, the event is considered related for reporting purposes. However, the event influenza is considered coincidental with no biological plausibility for the product to cause/contribute. Of note, details about precise event latency and laboratory confirmation details are not reported. Additionally, the patient's underlying condition of VEXAS syndrome and post-hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) could be considered as risk factors.
