Symptom narrative

Patient left the exam room and came up to lobby area with mom. While working with staff to complete check out, patient appeared to become lightheaded. He leaned back against the wall and then suddenly slumped forward and fell to the floor. He appeared to have hit his head on the floor.

Patient was moved back to an exam room with a provider to evaluate him. It was found that he had a laceration on his head from the fall. Referred to urgent care for possible sutures.
