getting COVID last fall/fever, chills, arm feels like it's gonna fall off kind of thing; arm feels like it's gonna fall off kind of thing; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of COVID-19 (getting COVID last fall/fever, chills, arm feels like it's gonna fall off kind of thing) and LIMB DISCOMFORT (arm feels like it's gonna fall off kind of thing) in a 69-year-old female patient who received SPIKEVAX NOS (SPIKEVAX NOS) for COVID-19 prophylaxis. The patient's past medical history included Hip fracture (breaking her hip sometime in 2020) in 2020. Previously administered products included for Product used for unknown indication: Pfizer (she started out with Pfizer (remembers getting maybe 2 or 3 Pfizer ones)). Past adverse reactions to the above products included No adverse effect with Pfizer. Concurrent medical conditions included AFib and COPD (somewhat mild). On an unknown date, the patient received dose of SPIKEVAX NOS (SPIKEVAX NOS) (Intramuscular use) 1 dosage form. On 03-Sep-2025, the patient experienced COVID-19 (getting COVID last fall/fever, chills, arm feels like it's gonna fall off kind of thing) and LIMB DISCOMFORT (arm feels like it's gonna fall off kind of thing). In September 2025, COVID-19 (getting COVID last fall/fever, chills, arm feels like it's gonna fall off kind of thing) and LIMB DISCOMFORT (arm feels like it's gonna fall off kind of thing) had resolved. The action taken with SPIKEVAX NOS (SPIKEVAX NOS) (Intramuscular use) was unknown. No concomitant medication was reported. It was stated that Patient had stayed on schedule for getting all COVID vaccines, except last Fall when she did not get vaccinated. Other than that, it was reported staying up to date with all her vaccines. She started out with Pfizer (remembers getting maybe 2 or 3 Pfizer ones) and at some point (she couldn't remember exactly when) switched to Moderna. it was reported getting COVID last fall on 03-Sep-2025 and thought that was the reason she did not get vaccinated at the time. it was stated that's why she did not got fall vaccine, more or less. It was 3-Sep-2025, She also recalled wearing a mask at the time but still got Covid. Patient still wear a mask if she went or whatever because even if she got a cold or upper respiratory stuff, she did not do well. it really latches on and lasted quite a while. It was stated she had no idea how she could have gotten COVID but remembered going to a seminar with other 20-25 people and it was in an enclosed room. She recalled a couple of people coughing and she also recalled she was wearing a mask at the time. It was reported symptoms like fever, chills, arm felt like it was going to fall off kind of thing and symptoms lasting a couple of days. Also expressed some concerns regarding vaccine production and the current political events, it was stating it was not that she did not have faith in the vaccine being safe. They had to thought at some point that could that affect future vaccines. No treatment information was reported.
