Bad joint pain, mainly in arthritic joints; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of ARTHRALGIA (Bad joint pain, mainly in arthritic joints) in a 70-year-old female patient who received mRNA-1283 (MNEXSPIKE PFS) (batch no. 80777-0400-60) for COVID-19 prophylaxis. The suspect product included Pre-filled Syringe injection (batch no. 80777-0400-60) for COVID-19 prophylaxis. Previously administered products included for Product used for unknown indication: Pfizer Covid vaccine (got in fall 2022) in 2022. Past adverse reactions to the above products included Joint pain with Pfizer Covid vaccine. Concurrent medical conditions included Arthritis (arthritis, but rarely pain this bad) and Arthritic pains. On 22-May-2026, the patient received dose of mRNA-1283 (MNEXSPIKE PFS) (Intramuscular use) .2 milliliter. On an unknown date, the patient started Pre-filled Syringe (unknown route) at an unspecified dose. On 23-May-2026, after starting mRNA-1283 (MNEXSPIKE PFS), the patient experienced ARTHRALGIA (Bad joint pain, mainly in arthritic joints). At the time of the report, ARTHRALGIA (Bad joint pain, mainly in arthritic joints) had not resolved. Concomitant medication use information was not provided by reporter.The patient did not have any additional medical history, concomitant disease or risk factor. It was reported that the patient had bad joint pain, mainly in arthritic joints. It was reported that the patient had previously similar joint pain after the one Pfizer Covid vaccine when the patient got in fall 2022, but never after all the other Moderna vaccines. It was reported that the patient would take some ibuprofen today and the patient rarely took any pain medication. The patient did not experience any additional symptoms/events.
