losing her sense of taste/loss of taste; This spontaneous case was reported by a consumer and describes the occurrence of AGEUSIA (losing her sense of taste/loss of taste) in a 70-year-old female patient who received mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) for COVID-19 prophylaxis. Concurrent medical conditions included Hypertension. In 2021, the patient received dose of mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (unknown route) 1 dosage form. On an unknown date, the patient experienced AGEUSIA (losing her sense of taste/loss of taste). At the time of the report, AGEUSIA (losing her sense of taste/loss of taste) had not resolved. The action taken with mRNA-1273 (Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine) (Unknown) was unknown. Concomitant medications were not reported. It was reported that patient started getting Moderna's COVID vaccines back in 2021 when they first came out. Patient had started losing her sense of taste just two months after that and continued to get the vaccines. Treatment information was not reported.
