Vaccines were given on Tuesday, May 19th. Mom called on Friday, May 22nd to report baby had been running a high fever since was given the vaccines. She also reports legs were swollen and red. Encouraged Mom to see the baby's PCP. Mom took pt to an urgent care clinic who told her that pt was having an allergic reaction to the vaccines. They did a few tests, unsure what all but told her the ER could test for other virus/illness to make sure nothing else was going on. The next day she took baby to the ER, was again told the baby had an allergic reaction to vaccines. Was tested for flu, RSV, and other viral illnesses all of which were negative.
