Symptom narrative

5 hours after getting the Johnson & Johnson Covid 19 vaccine, I came down with a bad respiratory virus, sick, muscle aches, high fever, mucous - OK fine, I got over it. However, about 6 weeks after getting the Johnson & Johnson Covid 19 vaccine, I developed tinnitus on both ears. The left ear tinnitus went away and has not come back. The right ear tinnitus stayed for several weeks, then slowly went away. It comes back periodically. It starts off sounding like champagne bubbles popping for a few days, then gets VERY LOUD like thin metal clicking rapidly. It can stay for days at this volume, then wanes and stops. It comes back several times per year, so far just in my right ear.
