Symptom narrative

No side effects or symptoms have been reported; patient received CAPVAXIVE while improperly stored; This spontaneous report was received from a pharmacist concerning a 74-year-old male patient. His medical history, past medications, concurrent conditions, concomitant medications and drug reactions/allergies were not reported. On unreported date, doses of Pneumococcal 21-valent Conjugate Vaccine (CAPVAXIVE) underwent a temperature excursion at a temperature of 15.3 degrees Celsius (C), during a time frame of 720 hours, 0 minutes, 0 seconds with no previous temperature excursion. On 16-Apr-2026, the patient was vaccinated with an improperly stored dose of Pneumococcal 21-valent Conjugate Vaccine (CAPVAXIVE) injection, 0.5 mL, batch/lot number Z013655, expiration date 11-Aug-2027 (dosage regimen, anatomical location and route of administration were not reported), administered as prophylaxis (product storage issue). No side effects or symptoms have been reported (no adverse event.) This is one of two reports received from the same reporter.
