Generalized body pain; she experienced elevated temperature; This is a spontaneous report received from a Nurse. An adult female patient received BNT162b2 (BNT162B2), in 2021 as dose 1, single (Batch/Lot number: unknown), in hand for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history included: "NSAIDS" (unspecified if ongoing). There were no concomitant medications. Past drug history included: Morphine, reaction(s): "Drug allergy: Morphine"; Hydrocodone, reaction(s): "Drug allergy: hydrocodone". The following information was reported: PAIN (non-serious), outcome "unknown", described as "Generalized body pain"; BODY TEMPERATURE INCREASED (non-serious), outcome "unknown", described as "she experienced elevated temperature". Relevant laboratory tests and procedures are available in the appropriate section. Additional information: Patient reporting on Pfizer covid vaccine, she got the vaccine back in 2021 then since then she experienced a serious health problem, but did not expound. Wanted to know who to report to. Verified information with Reporter : patient took the vaccine through her employer. Patient details indicated that the event started in 2022, and the patient was diagnosed with the adrenal gland having stopped functioning. Reporter stated she collapsed and at that time she found out her adrenal glad was not working. She was getting, Reporter clarified she was very active, very healthy person, there was no history of any diagnosis of any hypertension, diabetic or anything or arthritis and stated she didn't have any history of anything. Reporter stated after the vaccine she experienced palpitations, repeated, she started having palpitations, these palpitations started maybe 3 to 4 months after the second shot. Reporter stated the first shot she only had elevated temperature. It was the second shot where she was starting these palpitations and shortness of breath and her skin colour was fading, and clarified her skin colour was fading and then she collapsed in Oct2022 and then find out; Reporter paused and stated she was with severe gastric pain she was having severe gastric pain and vomiting and the pain and then after all the investigation they found out her adrenal gland was not function. Now, she was on a steroid since then. Because of her adrenal gland not functioning she had a work injury, and nothing was healing, everything was immunocompromised. She was not able to work now, Reporter stated she was 60 years old. She cannot be doing anything normal, she was walking slowly and cannot function properly, she gets palpitations if get anything normally it makes her collapse. Call handler asked her to clarify what she just said and she stated, only with the help of steroid she was tolerating and stated only with help of steroid she was living. Reporter stated, she was taking hydrocortisone, initially when hydrocortisone started, she was taking 100mg and now it was 30mg daily now. 30mg was hardly doing anything, if she was working, she cannot work in 2022 she was working barely. She used to call out and if she works anything normal, she collapses, she collapsed multiple times. She cannot drive, because if she drives it makes her sleep because of the adrenal gland. Reporter stated she ended up in a car accident because of low energy, the car accident was on 19Feb2026. When queried Reporter about seriousness she stated, Reporter stated with her energy the way it was she was working at that time continuously and after maximum of two days she can work but then has to get off, her employee made her work Monday through Friday, 5 days. That was when she had to stop working continuously, she was getting sick frequently. After two days working her energy was gone. Her work was not considering her health condition. They are not giving her restrictions according to the doctor which are to work two days on and two days off. This was lifetime condition. Only can manage with rest. Management, she had to take the steroid in order be alive. She has to stay away from stress, stressful situations and infection. Reporter stated she has been getting infections easily. When queried whether any adverse event required a visit to the Emergency Room, the Reporter stated that no adverse event required a visit to the Emergency Room. The Reporter further stated that after the adrenal finding, she was not thinking that it was a vaccine issue and had only experienced palpitations, which she did not consider serious at that time. When queried whether any adverse event required a visit to a physician's office, the Reporter stated that a physician's office visit occurred due to collapse related to the adrenal gland not functioning. Regarding adverse events following vaccination, the Reporter stated that she had experienced elevated temperature and generalized body pain. When queried regarding any other diagnosed illnesses, medical history, or chronic health conditions, the Reporter stated that there was nothing prior; however, she additionally stated that she had an allergic stomach, was immunosuppressed, and had been getting infections easily.
