suspected vaccination failure; shingles going on for over 2 months; but I do know it's nerve pain; I've took 3 vaccines; This serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of vaccination failure in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) solution for injection for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received the 3rd dose of Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced vaccination failure (Verbatim: suspected vaccination failure) (serious criteria GSK medically significant), zoster sine herpete (Verbatim: shingles going on for over 2 months), post herpetic neuralgia (Verbatim: but I do know it's nerve pain) and extra dose administered (Verbatim: I've took 3 vaccines). The outcome of the vaccination failure and post herpetic neuralgia were not reported and the outcome of the zoster sine herpete was not resolved and the outcome of the extra dose administered was not applicable. It was unknown if the reporter considered the vaccination failure, zoster sine herpete and post herpetic neuralgia to be related to Shingles vaccine. The patient had taken three vaccines and had internal shingles for over two months and had had the same condition last year. The patient had internal shingles for two months, was better but not well, and had also had them at the same time last year. The physician had acted as if it was nothing and had said they could not treat them. The patient had asked them to do tests to be sure, and that was what the patient had wanted, but the patient did know it was nerve pain and had taken three vaccines. This case was considered as suspected vaccination failure as details regarding time to onset and laboratory test confirming shingles were unknown at the time of reporting The batch number was not provided and unable to contact the reporter.; Sender's Comments: A case of Vaccination failure, on an unknown time after vaccination with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd doses of Shingles vaccine, in a patient.
