Reported Symptoms: 10063973:EXPIRED VACCINE USED; Narrative: Expired vaccine was given to the 47 year old patient who was then instructed to come back to be revaccinated at least 4 weeks later in case the first dose had any effect. The single-dose presentation comes in a box of 10 vials, and the manufacturer expiration is only listed on the box and not on each individual vial. If the tech mislabels the beyond use date without taking into consideration the manufacturer's expiration date, the person administering the vaccine doesn't have an easy way to view the manufacturer's expiration when individual vials are dispensed.
