On an unknown date, the patient received Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced vaccination failure (Verbatim: suspected vaccination failure) (serious criteria GSK medically significant), facial herpes zoster (Verbatim: but sometimes on my face on the location where I had the shingles) and nerve damage (Verbatim: nerve damage). The patient had not been sure what shots, he or she had received, as had received them at the medical facility and did not know if they were Shingrix or a generic equivalent, but they had been told that it was not guaranteed. The patient stated that it had been strange and they had not been sure if their friend had had this issue, but sometimes on their face, at the location where they had had shingles, it had felt like ants had been walking on their face. The patient stated that had not been sure if it had been nerve damage or if the shingles had been forming again. The batch number was not provided and unable to contact the reporter. This case was considered as suspected vaccination failure as details regarding completion of primary vaccination schedule, time to onset and laboratory test confirming shingles were unknown at the time of reporting.
