Symptom narrative

Throbbing shock-like head pains on right base of head; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer and described the occurrence of head throbbing in a 57-year-old female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for vaccination. Concurrent medical conditions included esophageal acid reflux and depression. Concomitant products included famotidine and escitalopram oxalate (Escitalopram). On 06-JUN-2026, the patient received Shingrix. On 07-JUN-2026, 1 days after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced head throbbing (Verbatim: Throbbing shock-like head pains on right base of head). The outcome of the head throbbing was not resolved. It was unknown if the reporter considered the head throbbing to be related to Shingrix.
