Suspect current shingles episode after first dose of Shingrix.; Flu like symptoms; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via call center representative and described the occurrence of shingles in a 57-year-old female patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) solution for injection for prophylaxis. Concurrent medical conditions included migraine and nausea. Concomitant products included butalbital, caffeine, paracetamol (Fioricet) and ondansetron hydrochloride (Zofran). On an unknown date, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingrix. On 04-JUN-2026, between 5 and 6 months after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced influenza-like symptoms (Verbatim: Flu like symptoms). On an unknown date, the patient experienced shingles (Verbatim: Suspect current shingles episode after first dose of Shingrix.). The outcome of the shingles was resolving and the outcome of the influenza-like symptoms was not resolved. It was unknown if the reporter considered the shingles and influenza-like symptoms to be related to Shingrix. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date:05-JUN-2026 and 96-JUN-2026 The patient reported a suspected current episode of shingles after receiving Shingrix either at the end of JAN-2026 or beginning of FEB-2026 (the patient was unsure of the exact date). The patient was scheduled to receive the second dose of Shingrix in MAR-2026 but forgot about the appointment and did not receive the second dose of Shingrix. The patient had a total of eight red bumps with light burning, and a little bit of stabbing feeling especially if clothing was rubbing on top of the rash. The patient noticed the rash on 01-JUN-2026 or 02-JUN-2026 the patient was unclear of the exact day. The patient mentioned the bumps also look like they are blistering and the patient has taken pictures of the rash if needed. The patient received the Shingrix either at the end of DEc-2025 or beginning of JAN-2026 but did not know the exact date. The reporter states that this past Monday she developed 8 red blisters on her right upper thigh. The reporter believes the bumps are shingles. The patient was going to see her physician to confirm. The batch number was not provided upon follow up with the reporter. The case US2026075531 was found as duplicate of this US2026075703 case. All the information from the case US2026075531 was merged into this US2026075703 case. The case US2026075531 was deleted and this US2026075703 case stand as case of record for this patient.
