radiation for prostate cancer; This serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of prostate cancer in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingles vaccine) solution for injection for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received the 1st dose of Shingles vaccine. On an unknown date, an unknown time after receiving Shingles vaccine, the patient experienced prostate cancer (Verbatim: radiation for prostate cancer) (serious criteria GSK medically significant). Shingles vaccine was discontinued. The outcome of the prostate cancer was not reported. It was unknown if the reporter considered the prostate cancer to be related to Shingles vaccine. The company considered the prostate cancer to be unrelated to Shingles vaccine. Additional Information: GSK receipt date: 10-JUN-2026 The patient could not take his/her second shot of Shingrix because he/she fixing to start radiation for prostate cancer. The batch number was not provided, and unable to contact the reporter.; Sender's Comments: A case of Prostate cancer, unknown time after receiving 1st dose of Shingles vaccine, in a patient. Based on the available information a possible causality that the event was caused by the GSK product cannot be ascertained. Consent for further follow-up has not been received.
