After vaccine was administered patient was advised to stay seated in exam room for 10-15 minutes after injection. Patient reported feeling stable after injection was administered, patient stayed seated 3-5 minutes post injection and began feeling light headed. Patient at the time was holding cup of water and had spilled cup in their lap. Patient never loss consciousness, was looking pallor and began perspiring. Patient reported never having this reaction to this vaccine at time of the initial dose however did state after episode they only had minimal amount of food today such as almonds and an energy drink. Patient was monitored for 20 minutes and vitals were taken and stable. Patient reported feeling more stable and was discharged with parent.
