The patient was still fighting nerve damage from the shingles he had over 2 years ago. Doctors told him there was nothing they could do nor help with the nerve damage from the shingles. Listen to this day, he was so miserable. And yes he definitely did have the shingles shot a few years ago before all this happened to him. This case was considered as suspected vaccination failure as details regarding completion of primary schedule, time to onset for shingles and laboratory confirmation regarding shingles were unknown at the time of reporting.
